Dental Crowns

Striving to providing our patients with great smiles that will last

What are dental crowns or caps?

When a tooth is extensively broken down or heavily filled, a conventional filling will not provide a stable long-term restoration of the tooth. The tooth is also susceptible to further breakdown or infection. A dental crown is a porcelain capping bonded over the entire surface of the tooth. Porcelain crowns provide long-term restorations that help to prevent the tooth from further fracture.

Porcelain crowns are highly cosmetic restorations for teeth, and are also used to restore dental implants and to anchor dental bridges.
